Compañero
Your Reading Companion
Graphic Version | El Escritorio Home
Compañero is a publication that will be
periodically updated,
featuring articles about the Hispanic, Mexican American, Chicano, and
Native American communities and issues that affect them. Other articles
will be about history of the peoples of the Southwest
and the unique intermingling of cultures.
Poetry, short stories and essays that are meant to entertain and inform
will bring the author's experiences to the reader. These articles will
be targeted to all age groups for the purpose of highlighting the
vibrance and humor of people of the Southwest.
Finally, editorials relating to the socio-economic and political status
of peoples in the Southwest, and the world, will be included. We
welcome any responses to these editorials and will post some responses
on this site. We hope to eventually have a blog site which will allow a
free flowing discussion about various interests and issues of
concern from our audience.
