Tlahtoa Anáhuac, proclaiming Anáhuac. The societies and people of the western hemisphere, who were here prior to the arrival of Europeans, continue to survive and will flourish. The teachings of these early societies offer many of us a chance to renew our outlook upon ourselves. Thousands and thousands of years of knowledge and experiences should not be lost in oblivion. It is the purpose of Tlahtoa to "proclaim" and rejoice in our ancestors being, to attempt to learn as much as possible about their existence, to discover the links among those living today with those who lived and died in Anáhuac, and to rediscover the truths of our existence.
